Safety Guidelines
- Please start with a simple assembly by placing the combustion chamber into the protection container, and placing this burner kit into the tabletop fireplace base, then insert five pieces of glass panes.
- Next it's time to pour fuel into the combustion chamber, please add it through the funnel so the alcohol fuel doesn't spill. The capacity of the combustion chamber is about 300 ml, so please do not pour too much let the alcohol overflow.
- Use a long-handled ignition gun or long matches to light the fire, making sure to keep your hands at a distance from the fuel to prevent burn.
- The flame will be small at first when first ignited and will reach the desired height after 5 minutes of continuous burning. At the beginning of the burn, you may smell a slight odor, which is temporary and will disappear after burning for minutes.
- Once the flame has stabilized, insert the last piece of glass pane.
- We generally recommend to let the combustion chamber burn down completely until it is extinct.
- If it is intended to be interrupted during combustion, cover the entire combustion chamber with a fire extinguishing cap to isolate the flame from the air and the flame will go out. (Always keep the extinguishing lid near the fire pit please).
Warnings
Safety should be your top priority when operating the fire pit. Fire pit fuel is highly flammable and extremely dangerous if not handled carefully. Please read and follow these safety instructions thoroughly before operating the fire pit.
- Keep safety instructions for reference as long as you own the fire pit and provide them to anyone using the fire pit.
- The fire pit must be used strictly on a horizontal surface.
- Only use Bioethanol fuel or 70%-95% Isopropyl Alcohol.
- Never fill the reservoir higher than the max line indicated. Overfilling can lead to fuel spillage and increase risk of fire.
- If fuel spills, clean it up immediately using a dry paper towel or rag before lighting the fire pit.
- Use only an extended lighter or a long match to light the fire pit. This will help maintain a safe distance from the flame.
- Never refill, move, or touch the fire pit while it is burning or still hot. Wait for it to cool down before attempting to handle or move it.
- To extinguish the fire pit, cover it with a suitable fire pit cover, Do not attempt to blow out the flame, as this can spread embers and increase the risk of fire.
- The fire pit should never be activated, handled, or filled by minors. Only adults should operate the fire pit.
- Never leave a burning flame unattended. Always ensure someone is present to monitor the fire pit.
- Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the fire pit at all times.
- Keep flammable objects at least 3 feet away from the fire pit while it is lit or hot.
- Do not open the fuel container next to an open fire. Always handle fuel in a safe and designated area away from any ignition sources.
- Store the fuel in a cool, dry place at least 5 feet away from the fire pit. Ensure that the fuel bottles are tightly sealed and kept out of reach of children.
- After extinguishing the flame, do not leave any fuel in the reservoir. Empty out the remaining fuel to prevent accidental ignition.
